FANNY HOWE is the author of more than twenty books of poetry and prose, including her most recent poetry collections The Lyrics, The Lives of a Spirit: Glasstown: Where Something Got Broken, and On the Ground; and a volume of essays, The Winter Sun: Notes on a Vocation. She has won a fellowship from the Guggenheim Foundation and an award from the Academy of Arts and Letters.

TOM RAWORTH is the author of over 40 books of poetry. His Collected Poems were published in 2003 by Carcanet Press, and his latest collections are Caller and Other Pieces (2007) and Let Baby Fall (2008).
